The scale of Pay:
The Pay Scale for the Junior Teacher post vacancies in Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) Recruitment 2023 is given below
- The remuneration of the Junior Teacher (Schematic) is Rs. 11,100/- PM excluding EPF of employer share.
- The Junior Teacher (Schematic) will be eligible to be a Junior Teacher after 3 years of continuous and satisfactory service and the remuneration will be Rs. 13,800/- PM excluding EPF of employer share.
- A Junior Teacher after 3 years of continuous and satisfactory service will be appointed as a Regular Elementary Teacher through absorption in the Elementary Cadre and the salary will be Rs. 23,600/- PM and DA, HRA, and other allowances as admissible per month.

Educational Qualification:
Educational Qualification required for the OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023 for Odisha Primary and Upper Primary Schools are as follows
- For Category-1 (For Classes I to V):
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years Diploma in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). AND
- Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I).
- For Category-2 (For Classes VI to VIII):
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years B. A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education). OR
- Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three years integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.
- Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-II (OTET-II).
- Candidates must have odia as MIL up to Class-X or pass in Odia Language test equivalent to the Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

Age Limit:
Candidates should follow the below Age Limit for Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023 in Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA)
- Minimum Age of the Candidates: 18 Years
- Maximum Age of the Candidates: 38 Years
