  • Computer Skill Test (Practical) – 50 Marks
  • Measurement of Physical Standard & Physical Efficiency Test

SYLLABUS FOR COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST

(1) Paper-I: General English and Odia Language (100 Marks)

  • General English: The questions shall be of +2 standard 
    • Comprehension of a given passage.
    • Grammar, vocabulary and usage.
  • Odia Language:
    • Comprehension of a given passage.
    • Grammar, vocabulary and usage.
    • Translation from English to Odia.

(2) Paper-II: Quantitative Aptitude and Resoning (100 Marks)

  • Mental Ability and Test of Reasoning.
  • Numerical Ability and Arthmetic.

(3) Paper-III: Computer Test (Written) (100 Marks)

  • Basics of Computer and Information Technology;
  • Fundamentals of Operating systems like-Windows, Linux etc;
  • Office Automation Software‟s like-M.S. Office, G-Suite etc;
  • Fundamentals of data communications and networking;
  • Network protocol and Security;
  • Web Designing, E-Commerce, Internet;
  • Database Management System
  • Application development-PHP-Javascript-HTML
  • Programming and Problem solving through “C” language, Java, Android Programming and Python;
  • Introduction to Multimedia and Photoshop; and
  • Basic Concepts of Electronics and Telecommunications

SYLLABUS FOR COMPUTER SKILL TEST (PRACTICAL)

The Computer Skill Test will test the practical Computer Skills in the following areas, namely –

  • Operating System- Windows, Linux;
  • Office automation packages like-MS Excel Spreadsheet, Power point, MS Access, G-Suite;
  • Programming Skill in “C” language, C++ language; and
  • Application development using Java/PHP, Java Script, HTML/CSS
