Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have the following minimum Educational Qualification required for UPSC IES / ISS Examination 2023
- Indian Economic Service (IES): Candidates should possess Post Graduate Degree (Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics).
- Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree (Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics).

Age Limit:
Candidates should meet the following Age Limit for UPSC IES / ISS Examination 2023.
- Minimum Age of the Candidate: 21 Years
- Maximum Age of the Candidate: 30 Years
- The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02/08/1993 and not later than 01/08/2002 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation is applicable as per Govt. Rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay the following application fee for UPSC IES Examination 2023.
- For Other candidates: Rs. 200/-
- For Female / SC / ST & PwD Candidates: NIL
- Candidates can pay either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of SBI.
