The SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released by the State Bank of India (SBI) for appointment of Circle Based Officers (CBO). A total of 2270+ vacancies have been announced across various SBI Circles in India. Selected candidates will be posted in the same Circle for which they apply.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational qualification and experience criteria as on 31 December 2025.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Candidates with professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, CA or Cost Accountant are also eligible.
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the Circle applied for (reading, writing and understanding).

Age Limit

The age limit for SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2026 is calculated as on 31 December 2025.

Minimum Age Limit of the Candidates: 21 years
Maximum Age Limit of the Candidates: 30 years
Age relaxation applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
