Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have the following Educational Qualifications for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2025
- RRB Technician Grade – I Signal: Bachelor of Science in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation from a recognized University / Institute OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation from a recognized University / Institute. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams. OR Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.
- RRB Technician Grade – III: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT / SCVT in the relevant trade. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.

Age Limit:
Candidates should meet the following Age Limit for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025
- Age Limit for Technician Grade – I Signal Posts: 18 – 33 Years (The candidates must be born not earlier than 02/07/1992 and not later than 01/07/2007)
- Age Limit for Technician Grade – III Posts: 18 – 30 Years (The candidates must be born not earlier than 02/07/1995 and not later than 01/07/2007)
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay the following Application Fee for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025.
- For Unreserved Candidates: Rs. 500/-
- For SC / ST / PWDs / Ex-Serviceman / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class (The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT.): Rs. 250/-
