Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have the following Educational Qualifications for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024
- RRB Technician Grade – I Signal: Bachelor of Science in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation from a recognized University / Institute OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation from a recognized University / Institute. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams. OR Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.
- RRB Technician Grade – III: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT / SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater / Foundryman / Pattern Maker / Moulder (Refractory). OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.
- RRB Technician Grade – III: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT / SCVT in the trade of Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Wireman / Electrical Fitter / Carpenter / Furniture and Cabinet Maker / Mechanic Power Electronics / Mechanic Mechatronics / Mechanic Auto electrical and Electronics. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades. OR 10+2 with Physics and Maths.

Age Limit:
Candidates should meet the following Age Limit for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024
- Age Limit for Technician Grade – I Signal Posts: 18 – 36 Years
- Age Limit for Technician Grade – III Posts: 18 – 33 Posts
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay the following Application Fee for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024.
- For Unreserved Candidates: Rs. 500/-
- For SC / ST / PWDs / Ex-Serviceman / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class (The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT.): Rs. 250/-
