The Punjab National Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released by Punjab National Bank (PNB) for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2025–26. A total of 5138 apprenticeship seats have been announced across various States and Union Territories. Eligible graduates can apply online through the BFSI SSC portal within the prescribed dates.

Vacancy Details

As per the Punjab National Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification, apprentices will be engaged State / UT-wise and Circle-wise. The number of seats is provisional and may vary as per bank requirements.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Punjab National Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the following educational qualification conditions as on the cut-off date.

Candidate must possess a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute approved by Government bodies, AICTE or UGC.
The result of graduation must have been declared on or before 31 December 2025.
Candidates registered under NATS must have passed graduation not more than 4 years prior to the cut-off date (01 January 2026).
Applicants must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT applied for (reading, writing, speaking and understanding).

Age Limit

The age limit for Punjab National Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is calculated as on 01 January 2026.

Minimum Age of the Candidates: 20 Years
Maximum Age of the Candidates: 28 Years
Age relaxation applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD categories as per Government rules.
