Educational Qualification

As per the OUAT Recruitment 2025 guidelines, applicants must meet the following educational and eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor posts.

Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject.
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline.
NET qualification is mandatory (as per UGC guidelines).
NET is not required if the candidate holds a Ph.D. degree (as per UGC Regulation 2009/2016).
For Engineering disciplines: B.Tech & M.Tech in relevant specialization with at least 55% marks.
Candidates with Ph.D. (relevant field) will be given preference.

Age Limit

The OUAT Recruitment 2025 specifies the following age criteria for applicants.

Upper Age Limit: 42 years
Relaxation applicable to reserved categories as per Odisha Govt. norms
No upper age limit for in-service OUAT employees

Application Fee

Candidates applying under the OUAT Recruitment 2025 must pay the following non-refundable fee.

Mode of Payment: Direct deposit in State Bank of India through Green Channel Counter (GCC)

Fill in all required details and attach self-attested copies of certificates.
Attach the fee deposit receipt (original counterfoil).
