Educational Qualification:
The Minimum Educational Qualification required for OSSSC Hindi Teacher Recruitment 2025 is as follows
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the Electives / Optional / Pass / Honours subjects with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates with one of the following qualifications: (i) Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra. (ii) B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University / Institution. (iii) B. Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates with one of the following qualifications: (i) Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha. (ii) Shastri (Hindi) from Orissa Rastrabhasa Parishad, Puri. (iii) Snataka (Acquired by June 2005, the date up to which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Orissa, Cuttack. And one of the following Training qualifications: (i) Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra. (ii) B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University / Institution. (iii) B. Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.
The candidate must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher eligibility Test (OSSTET).
Age Limit:
Candidates should meet the following Age Limit for OSSSC Hindi Teacher Recruitment 2025 for the above post vacancies
- Minimum Age of the Candidates: 21 Years
- Maximum Age of the Candidates: 38 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
