The OSSSC Forester Recruitment 2026 short notification has been released by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) for recruitment of Forester and other posts such as Forest Guard and Excise Constable through the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE-2025). Vacancy Details

As per the OSSSC Forester Recruitment 2026 notification, vacancies will be filled for Forester, Forest Guard and Excise Constable posts through the Combined Recruitment Examination. The official detailed notification will contain post-wise vacancy breakups.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for OSSSC Forester Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational eligibility prescribed for the respective posts as mentioned in the detailed notification.

Forester: The candidates must have passed +2 Science from a recognized University, Institution or Board as the case may be with knowledge in basic Computer Skill.
Forest Guard: The Candidates must have passed High School Certificate Examination (10+) from a recognized Board or Institute.
Excise Constable: The candidate must have passed +2 Examination or equivalent examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognized Board or Council

Age Limit

The age limit for OSSSC Forester Recruitment 2026 varies according to the posts. As per the OSSSC Forester Notification 2026, the age criteria are as mentioned below. The age limit is calculated as on 01 January 2025.

Age Limit for Forester and Forest Guard Vacancies: 18 – 32 years
Age Limit for Excise Constable Vacancies: 21 – 32 years
Age relaxation applicable for Women / SC / ST / SEBC / PwBD as per Odisha Government rules.
