The OPTCL Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), a Government of Odisha undertaking. Through this OPTCL Recruitment 2026, the corporation is inviting online applications for the posts of Management Trainee (Civil), Management Trainee (Law), Junior Management Trainee (Civil), and Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee. These posts will be filled across various units of OPTCL and GRIDCO in Odisha.

Vacancy Details

The OPTCL Recruitment 2026 has announced a total of 50 vacancies across multiple trainee posts in civil, law and office administration disciplines.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for OPTCL Recruitment 2026 must possess the required educational qualifications depending on the post.

Management Trainee (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or passing Section A & B of IE (India) in Civil Engineering. For SC/ST candidates minimum 50% marks required.
Management Trainee (Law): Degree in Law from a recognized institution.
Junior Management Trainee (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).
Office Assistant Grade-III Trainee: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
For Office Assistant post, candidates must be able to read and write Odia and have working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for OPTCL Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the prescribed age criteria as on 01 February 2026.

Minimum Age Limit of the Candidates: 21 Years
Maximum Age Limit of the Candidates: 32 Years
Age relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST / SEBC and Women candidates.
10 years relaxation for PwBD candidates.
Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.
