The Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released by the Department of Posts, Government of India for engagement of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) including Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. More than 28636 vacancies have been announced across various postal circles of India. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official India Post GDS portal.

Vacancy Details

As per the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2026 notification, vacancies are available for different categories of GDS posts across postal divisions.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the educational qualification criteria prescribed in the official notification.

Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (10th Class) from a recognized Board of School Education.
Passing marks in Mathematics and English in 10th standard is mandatory.
