Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026 is strictly as per the Medical Council of India (NMC), Dental Council of India and AIIMS recruitment rules and varies depending on whether the applicant is medical, super-specialty, dental or non-medical faculty.

Medical Candidates: MBBS degree included in the First or Second Schedule of the IMC Act, 1956 with MD / MS in the concerned subject and at least 3 years of teaching / research experience as Senior Resident or equivalent.
Super-Specialty Candidates: MD / MS in the concerned subject with DM / M.Ch in the relevant super-specialty and prescribed experience after obtaining the qualification.
Dentistry Candidates: BDS with MDS in the concerned specialty and minimum 3 years of teaching experience after MDS.
Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with Ph.D and at least 3 years of teaching / research experience in a recognized institution.
Candidates must be registered with NMC / DCI / State Medical or Dental Council wherever applicable.
Experience must be in a recognized medical college / institute / university only.
