Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the essential educational qualifications prescribed in the notification.

  • Candidate must be a Law Graduate having a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (including Integrated Law Degree) from a recognized School/College/University/ Institution in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate.
  • Candidates studying in the fifth year of Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of Three-Year Law Course after graduation are also eligible to apply, subject to furnishing proof of acquiring law qualification before taking up the assignment.
  • Candidates must possess research and analytical skills, good writing ability, and knowledge of computers, including retrieval of legal information from databases such as e-SCR, SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
