Educational Qualification

As per the OUAT Recruitment 2026 guidelines, applicants must meet the following educational and eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor posts.

Applicant must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation level is required (relaxation as per government norms).
Candidates must have qualified NET / Ph.D as per UGC regulations wherever applicable.
For certain disciplines, higher qualification or specialization may be required.
Experience in teaching / research may be preferred for some departments.
