Educational Qualification

Candidates applying under IOCL Recruitment 2025 must possess the post-wise educational qualifications prescribed for Non-Executive posts.

  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Petrochemical Engineering, or related fields, OR a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates against reserved positions).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U): This role requires a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Mechanical (Production), Electrical, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, OR a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry, along with a Second Class Boiler Competency Certificate (BCC) or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Boiler Attendant with proper state endorsement.
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U-O&M): Applicants need a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Power System, or Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates against reserved positions).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical) / Junior Technical Assistant–IV (Electrical): The required qualification is a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Power System, or Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved or identified positions).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical) / Junior Technical Assistant–IV (Mechanical): Candidates must hold a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical (Production) Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved or identified positions).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation) / Junior Technical Assistant–IV (Instrumentation): This post requires a 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved or identified positions).
  • Junior Quality Control Analyst: Applicants must have a B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved or identified positions).
  • Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): This position requires an Intermediate (10+2) pass along with a Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or a government-recognized institute, and a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, in addition to meeting specific physical and medical standards.
